ADAMS, Helen Elizabeth. Passed away in Auckland on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, after a long illness. Partner of Paul Verdon (formerly of Christchurch), mother of Felicity and Karen, grandmother of Hailey, Maddy, and Alex, great-grandmother of Wyatt and Byron. A service to celebrate Helen's life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Friday, September 19, at 10:30 a.m. A livestream of the service will be available at https://tinyurl.com/yc7w4akj. Go well Helen. Thinking of you, Paul and your family.
We will miss Helen´s wonderful bright smile, her ready wit and enthusiasm for the new. She was such a great companion on our exploration of Europe and New Zealand. We will be attending the funeral while in Devon which is where we were all together for what has turned out to be our last trip with her. Helen loved it and it has been great to be thinking of her as we roam the paths we all walked together in happier times. We had sunshine for that holiday and that is how we remember her - a sunshine personality. We send our love to Paul and the family. John Verdon (Paul´s brother), Bridget Hogan (sister-in-law) and Kieran Hogan-Verdon (their son).
