SKINNER, William Gerard (Gerard):
On Wednesday 17th September 2025 unexpectedly in his room. Aged 77. Loved eldest son of Betty and Gerry. Cherished brother of Anne and Ken, Martin and Norah, Josephine and Michael, Luke and Agnes, and the late Peter. Dearly loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and his ’Karina Family’. Many thanks to the Karina Lifecare staff, especially the ‘Mums’ in the kitchen for all their love and care. Join us for a celebration of Gerard’s life at Cotton’s Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 19th September 2025 at 1pm.

I have some fond memories of my uncle Gerard, with more coming back as I watched and listened to the beautiful words of reflection Anna and others shared. I count myself privileged and blessed to have such a beautiful hearted and special uncle, with unique and lovely traits including his humour. Love you Gerard.
