ROBERTS, Alaine Joyce (née Cornforth, formerly Harris):
Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Monday, 22 September 2025, aged 78 years. Dearly loved mother of the late Paula, and a treasured sister and friend to many. In accordance with Alaine’s wishes a private cremation has taken place, and a service to celebrate her life will be held in the Cotton’s Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 30 September 2025, at 10.30am.

I had known Alaine since she was a teenager in Feilding tzhen as a pharmacy assistant in Palmerston North. We reunited in London & last spoke when she was nursing her mother. A happy soul, Sadly missed
We are sadden and stunned by the sudden loss of our dear friend Alaine. Though our physical paths hadn't crossed in years, it was always a joy to speak with her when we did. We will miss her.
In Loving Memory of Aliane Aliane was a loving aunty to me — more like a second mother. She held a special place in my heart and filled my life with so many wonderful memories. I’ll always cherish the love, guidance, and kindness she showed me. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. ❤️
Alaine was passionate about life and always had a spring in her step. She will be sadly missed at wine group and as a friend.
