Uncle Pete, you once asked me, if I could bottle or wrap a memory 'what would it be'? Why? My response was quick as I stated that's easy, ' The Tack Room'. As those that knew 'The Bay'! It was just below my grandmother's home and when you opened the door, 9 times out of 10 Uncle Pete was in there. The smell of horse sweat, leather, horse feed and the smell of the sea lingered in your senses even after the door was closed. Happy times of a childhood, family and memories, not forgotten, however lost to those that will never experience our carefree childhood. Love you Pete, rest peacefully, will always miss that mischievous smile and advise you passed on so wisely.
