I met you once when I was visiting New Zealand with your niece Rachael and your sister Kate. I was very impressed by your humanity, knowledge and interest in history and by your determination to learn French, your ancestors' mother tongue. I have not known you long. I will never forget that day we met. I will never forget all those great things your nieces say about you. Vassili

Uncle Bruce was the first male role that I recall having. My mum (his sister) was a single mum and occasional he would lend a hand. As a young adult I would visit him often and he spent hours with me delving into astrology and explaining meaning of the stars and the planets and how that affects me as a person. It was down this path that he guided me in so many ways throughout my life, he helped formed who I am today, what profession I did, what my spiritual beliefs are and the power of the wider universe. I have been so blessed to have connected with Uncle Bruce, he will always hold a deep and special place in my heart, and even though he is not here in person anymore, I know he is within.
