McGLINCHEY Shirley Ann, QSM JP: Unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday morning 3rd of September 2026 at Taranaki Base Hospital surrounded by family. Treasured and adored wife of John for 54 years, most loved and respected mother and mother in-law of Erin, Anne and Malcolm, Claire and Timo, Bridget and Jill, Kate and Sam, Kieran and Tash. Loved and treasured Nana and Nana Kiwi of Molly, Ella, Ava, Milla, Esme, Nicole, Neve, Van, Chloe, Porsha, Rue, Hugh, Lynnie. A funeral mass for Shirley will be held at St Joseph's Church, Victoria Street Hawera on Tuesday 8th September at 11:00 am, followed by her burial at the Hawera Cemetery. A massive thanks from all the family for all the love and support at this difficult time.
