Yvonne has been my friend for over 30 years. We worked together at a building society in the UK. From the first time we met, I could tell she was a wonderful, caring person. She was always thinking of others and Never put herself first. She worked so hard, and her stamina was just amazing. The love Yvonne had for her family shone through, she was always so proud of their achievements. When she decided to move to NZ with John, it was sad for her friends here in the UK, but naturally she was desperate to be with Rachel, Victoria and her darling grandchildren. It was the best move she ever made and she really deserved it, after years of working so hard. Yvonne at last was living her dream, a dream that should not have ended so soon, she deserved more time. The world has lost a beautiful person, and I feel honoured to have known her. My heart felt sympathies go out to John, Rachel, Victoria and her grandchildren.
