Tributes

Myself and the girls send our love to Marion’s family. Marion will be missed in the salon we enjoyed our regular catch ups and hearing what the wider family were up to. The great grandson was a highlight and her granddaughter and her horses. She was so proud of her girls and how hard they worked and so supportive of her. We are thinking of you during this difficult time. Gemma (Aspects of Hair)

We've been lucky enough to have Marion as our lovely neighbour for 20 years. In that time we valued Marion's friendship and kindness. She was always interested in what we and our children were up to, and had a strong interest in the world around her. Marion was a strong, independent woman who loved her garden. Whenever we had neighbourhood gatherings she always attended, dressed impeccably, with a plate of something delicious. Marion also had a wealth of local knowledge that she was happy to share. Ross particularly valued her health and safety tips, as he precariously trimmed the tall Pohutukawa hedge that bordered our properties. We will miss her greatly. Claire, Ross, Merryn and Brooke Giblin.

Marion was an interested and knowledgeable gardener .She enjoyed our Ngita Woodhouse garden trips and chatting with members. When Belinda joined it was lovely to see a Mother & daughter enjoying each other's company. Marion will be missed. Nancy Anderson .Archivist

It was fun to play tennis with Marion and to share tennis lunches together ... and not that long ago either. Happy memories.

My love to you Mandy and Belinda. My husband Dick and I shared many fun, happy times with Marion and John when we were members of Mana Lions Club. Lovely memories of you girls at Paremata School too. You will miss her.
