We are deeply saddened when we heard about the passing of Uncle Mark! Karen got to meet him when he came to Canada and visited mom. Our daughters meet him when we visited New Zealand. Uncle Mark took our girls out for a horse back ride on Nimbus. We were lucky enough to go down to his wine cellar and pick out a bottle. We live streamed the celebration of life yesterday. Dad and Sue were also here to watch it. He was much loved, and accomplished so much!! We are thinking of you and sending much love to you Auntie Christine, Wade, and Calem.

Mark lived an extraordinary life, in family and in the lives he shaped and those he worked alongside. It takes someone special to recognize the needs of young people and guide and shape them into great adults and this was one of the many amazing things Mark did.

First met Mark inlJanuary 1972 at police school in Wellington. He graduated and went to Auckland i went to Invercargill! In August 2o26 we reunited in australia.. he was so happy to be there condolences to his family and friends. Regards

Thanks Mark for being a regular, friendly part of my hockey seasons south and then north of the harbour bridge. It was always a pleasure to have you umpiring with some friendly banter and a drink afterwards. Will miss your presence in the seasons to come.

Christine and family, my heart goes out to you all with the sudden loss of dear Mark. I know what he meant to you all and i know how badly missed he will be. But he was a lucky man-- he had the most wonderful wife in Christine and twp very much loved sons who adored their Dad as he did them. Such a lucky man Plus his staff at Denby Caterers respected him It was a privilege to work for oth Mark and Christine . He will be ever remembered and sorely missed by all who knew him.
