WOOD, Paula Ellen Mellor

 On Friday 28th August peacefully at Enliven Rest Home Lower Hutt surrounded by family, aged 97 years.  Dearly loved wife of the late Neil and daughter of Francis and Ruby.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Kerry and Paul, Shelley and George, Sheelagh and Phil, Gerard and Ally and Patrick and Kate.  Much loved Nana and Nana in law of Damian and Teresa, Sarah and Jake, Erin and Andrew, Anna and Rahul; James and Laura, Michael and Martina, Bede and Kim, Chris and Petra; Sammy, Josh and Casey, Ben; Olivia, Caitlin, Matt.  Great grand Nana to Liam, Jacob, Rose; Theo, Ellen, Matilda; Freddie, Harry, Alice; Oliver; Kai, and Kai’s brand-new baby brother.  A woman loved by all and a woman who held the values of faith, service and family close to her heart.

Requiescat in pace.

A service to celebrate Paula’s life will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Brittania Street, Petone on Wednesday 2 September, 11.00am, Family will then take Paula to the Otaki cemetery to be buried with her beloved Neil.
