On 19 August 2026, passed away peacefully. Much loved wife of the late Ross, wonderful mother and friend to Scott and Thao and grandmother to Lily, Jack and Ruby.
She will be hugely missed. Our time with her was very special and all too short.
At Jilly’s request, a private family service will be held on Wednesday 26 August 2026.

Dear Jilly, You were such a kind, caring, and wonderful person, and I’m so grateful I had the chance to know you and share so many special moments with you. You always shared your life stories with me and I’ll always remember and admire you for that. Rest peacefully, Jilly . You will be deeply missed, but your kindness, laughter, and beautiful soul will never be forgotten.
Jilly, you have such a beautiful soul, smile and sense of humour. I still remember just before Thao and Scott’s wedding when you asked if you could be my mother-in-law as well, which I gladly accepted. Rest in peace, Jilly, and I hope there is plenty of pink where you are 💕 xx
Dear Gran Jiji , Thank you for always being kind and loving to me ❤️xoxo
Dear Gran Jiji Thank you for always being so nice and kind to me. I’ll miss you very much ❤️ Love Isla
We were sad to learn of Jill´s passing. We treasure the many laughs we shared with Ross and Jill. Thinking of you Scott, Thao, Lily, Jack and Ruby, love Colleen, Rosemary, Tim and Sally.
Thank you Jill for your comfort and kindness yo me when we lived with Marlene in London. And the years since have not changed as we continued to be close and dear friends. I am sad that you are "not up there - just a phone call away. Your pain is now over and you can rest in peace. Love Nan
My friendship with Jilly was very unique, we entered each other’s lives myself as her cleaner and jilly as my employer☺️ how very quickly that changed and we became friends, we laughed at things that other people may find strange, I enjoyed visiting jilly every Wednesday and sometimes during the week when we went for a drive had lunch and a sneaky wine. We often spoke about our grandchildren what they were doing what sports they were playing and spent time looking at photos of them that gave us both a lot of pleasure. When tragedy struck my life, Jilly was there for me. All it did was strengthen our friendship. Jilly my very dear friend I am going to miss my long storybook text messages from you when I read them. They made me laugh. You always signed off by saying goodbye old bird. Your passing has left a huge hole in my life. I will think of you often with a huge smile on my face all my love always till we meet again. Rest easy jelly. 🌸💖
