McCarthy, Iona Anne. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, 23 July, aged 68 years. Dearly loved wife of Peter. Loved mother and mother-in-law of James & McCraine, and Luke & Nic. Treasured grandmother (Grona) of Ed, Oliver and Rosenquist.
A service to celebrate Iona's life will be held in Kāpiti Cost Funeral Home Chapel, 9 Hinemoa Street Paraparaumu, on Monday, 27 July 2026 at 10.30am. Followed by a gathering to share stories and memories, in Ōtaki. No flowers please, however if you would like to make a donation to Mary Potter Hospice in Iona’s name that would be appreciated.
