Peter died on Saturday night, aged 84, with typical strength and dignity. A truly inspiring gift to the world of goodness, conviction and warmth.

Living on in the hearts of wife Jenny, twins Richard and Rebecca and their partners Jo and Jack, his Grand darling things, Ella and Felix, and the global village he built with love.
