Peacefully at home on Wednesday 8 July 2026, aged 74.

Cherished and hard-working wife of Malcolm.

Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Kerri & Bruce, and Lara and George.  Stepmother to Helena & Daryn, Julie, and Nathan and Michelle.  Much loved and adored Nana of Jack, Alex, Arlo & Emma, Luke, Nico.  Loved Nana Irene of Elly, and Amelia.

The family would like to thank the care and compassion shown by the Hospice Taranaki team, in lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Taranaki would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial service to celebrate Irene’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth on 13 July 2026 at 2pm.
