Sorry I cant be with you today. Although I only met John through the Mccarthys I know his family was spoken highly of by my family. I remember as a child my father visiting Johns dad Ozzie in Hawera RIP John and condolences to Christines family and the Steiner family gone too soon 💕 Margaret Steiner-joyce

Darling speedy and kids. When I heard steins was so sick its the 1st time I cried in a while. Growing up in Taranaki and spending so much time with him, makes me feel very privileged to have called him my mate. I never forget when we had a tussle on his lawn and he threw me into the neighbors fence, from the day on he called me a little boy. Over the years I loved my visits back to hawera and his visits to wellington. We traded pauas and lamb chops and the last time I spent with him was watching nz beat England at the basin reserve. Im going to miss him so much. Last words on the phone I told him I love him. Im sorry for your loss speedy and I wish I could be there today. Tomorrow you will all be in my heart.❤️
