MANGAN, Gerard Arthur, late of Wainuiomata – On 25 May 2026, surrounded by loving family at Hutt Hospital, aged 74 years.
Dearly loved husband of Lorraine. Loving father and father-in-law of Paul & Nicky, Janine & Callan, Alice & Andrew, Heather, Eileen & Luke. Devoted grandfather of Alyssa, Natalya, Frankie, Noah, Harper and Paxton. Son of Brian & Maureen Mangan. Brother of Marian, Christopher and Carmel. Loved by all his wider family, friends, church, indoor bowls, and community.
Special thanks to the staff of Hutt Hospital for their care and support of Gerard over many years. Thank you also to the Stoma and Community Nurses who cared for Gerard.

Gerard’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, 2 Stanley Street, Wainuiomata, on Friday, 29 May 2026 at 1:00 pm, thereafter private cremation.
