Died peacefully 15th May 2026 at Whangarei Hospital aged 98 years.

Loving wife of the late Tom Russell

Much loved Mother of Lynda, Joanne and Michael, and the late Bruce.
Loved and adored Nana to 7 Grandchildren and Nanny Wal to 12 great grandchildren.

A beautiful life, well lived and will be missed.

A celebration of Val’s life will be held at the Chapel of Morris & Morris Funerals, (entrance 17 Western Hills Drive) Whau Valley, Whangarei, at 1:00pm on Saturday 23rd May 2026 followed by a private family cremation.
