Tributes

Dear Bice Iain kindly sent me a link to the funeral of Nazir and although it was only a short clip, I heard the first part of your tribute. I know Nazir would have been so proud of you. It was clear you had a special bond that endured 58 wonderful years which is an amazing period of time and yet never long enough. He had many worthy attributes and was clearly a talented human being. I send my love to you and Iain and Neil who must be of great comfort to you at this difficult time. Take care Betty x

Bice, We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Nazir. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Your time together was special and something to cherish in your memories of happier times. It seems such a long time ago since those days when I stayed with you and Iain in the mid 1950’s when wee children. Then being at your wedding to Nazir in Dingwall. Having Iain and Neil with you at this time must be a source of comfort and as will the close friends that you have. We wish you solace and hope that if you come to visit the UK at any time you will come and stay with us. With much love, Colin and Shona

Bice, John and I are sending you our heart felt condolences. The depth of your loss is unimaginable. Nazir was unforgetable. For such a humble man, he was larger than life. You and Nazir were unforgetable. Your lives full of adventure. It seems unfair to talk of him in the past tense because his memory will always be with us. Thank you for the honour of sharing him with me. I will hold our times together close to my heart forever. Love you always my dear friend.

Dear Bice and Awan family, Nazir was a very true friend and confidant while we worked at the Bank in Toronto. He was blessed with a lot of talents- including reading Tea Leaves. Naz was life of the party, very entertaining and holding court on several occasions. You are gone but will be very fondly remembered by us all. Nazir will be remembered as a team player, very humble and kind. Bice- Kim and I send you our deep condolences on this sad occasion. Nazir RIP good bud. Ashwin & Kim Sangani, Toronto
