Dearly loved wife of the late Peter Gerard Joyce.
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Brendan and Michael & Tara.
Greatest Nana of Lucas and Meika.
Loved sister of Darrell Phillips and the late Barry Phillips.
Special thanks to the staff of Rita Angus for their care and support of Verna.

A service for Verna will be held at the Cockburn St Chapel, Corner of Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington on Monday 18 May 2026 at 11am, thereafter private cremation.

Remembering the great times we had with Verna when travelling in the 60s. That awesome 3 months and 8,000 miles travelling around Europe in Prof's new Mercedes and the many nights drinking Babycham and Cider at the local pub. Wonderful memories.
