We will miss you Aunty Ria. I remember many visits up to Mangawhai to go see you (and John) with Mum, your cheeky smile, and determined look when you set your mind to something, your beautiful gardens, the mandarins, these memories will be very cherished. We remember Ria as a straightforward woman, who loved a small glass from her blue bottle with exceptional contents for special occasions, which was kept in my parents' cellar for her. Such a special occasion was, for example, after the family bike day in the Netherlands. The last time together on a so-called 'duo bike', which allowed us to enjoy the annual family bike ride, sitting and cycling next to each other, we had a lot of fun going to 'Haarzuilen'.
