Condolences from the Blyth family Coromandel. We stand beside you in sorrow at the loss of your Mum. But we also stand and remember the excitement of seeing your family boat anchoring in the bay. Of the catching up on the family's news and adventures. Hearing the old stories of our Fathers and the things they got up to. Our Mums got on like a house on fire very much alike in so many ways. Be proud that your Mum lived life to the fullest. May all your memories be of the great times and the fun you had. Blessings guys Stand tall.

Auntie Pat, sorry to say goodbye. Yourve been a big part of my family. You and Graham a big part of our hearts. Theres always been so much to admire about you that we witnessed from a young age; your kindergarten work, your sailing, your work in District Nursing, Riding for the Disabled, your sense of caring, of fun, laughter and zest for life. Im sorry you never got to visit me in New Plymouth, i would have enjoyed the stories of your early years here, but pleased I saw you a few weeks ago. Rest well and rest easy, and thankyou, for there is so much im grateful to you for. Arohanui, and until next time Peter Maxted, nephew and Godson

To Pat’s family-your mother, grandmother, great grandma was an amazing lady who put her heart & soul into everything she did-esp caring for her extended family-always putting them first! She was that kind of friend & group person too-always willing to help etc. I’ve missed her last few years at golf & outings & now will miss her in life but treasure those years of friendship🥰 My loving thoughts & prayers to her family now & in the years ahead❤️

Pat was a very good friend of our (late) Mum, Tessa Westenra. Pat and Mum were both involved in the Play Centre Association, back in the '60s and '70s. We have fond memories of going over to the Downes' home at Gordonton for BBQ's, hanging out with the kids and swimming in their pool. I also remember going on a ski trip to Ruapehu with Pat and kids. Even though Pat and Graham moved away from the Waikato to Stillwater, Mum and Pat continued to keep in touch with each other and would visit each other from time to time. They loved to keep each other up to date with what their kids were doing. Pat was a good, solid friend to Mum, and we know that Mum appreciated her greatly. Sorry that we can't be there with you today Robyn, Julie, Les, Ken and whanau. Much love from Mark, Bridget, Patrick and Simon Westenra.

What an absolute amazing Nana you were! You gave us the best childhood anyone could dream of. Summers sailing around New Zealand, visiting beautiful beaches, jumping off the boat for early morning swims and swimming with wild dolphins. Even the holidays spent at your house in Stillwater were magical with ice blocks stocked to the brim in the freezer, endless soda streams, fishing off the wharf, hours of fun in the spa pool and daily walks to the local dairy to buy lolly’s with the tip money we made pouring your gin and tonic and Poppa and uncle Ken’s bourbon and cokes. You truly were one in a million, the matriarch of the family and a beautiful soul. You will be hugely missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know you. Love you always, Marli

Pat was a person who made everyone feel welcome, she had a way of becoming everyone's Nana and friend. She never let anything stop her from going on exciting holidays and living her life to the fullest teaching us all to live every day as if it was our last. I will miss her dearly but I know that she is now with Graham at peace. My thoughts go out to her beautiful family.
