Tributes

Trevor was such a lovely man who always exuded calmness with a smile. I remember with warmth the privilege of sitting next to him on euphonium in the Tawa Corps band during the early 1980s, as well as his sense of humour when giving the announcements in his capacity as Corps Sergeant Major. In later years, our ad-hoc Tawa Corps Christmas carollers would always include his and Doreen’s home in our annual Christmas carolling. Trevor would come to the door and express words of appreciation and humour again. It is a blessing to see he passed on so many of his wonderful characteristics to his children and grandchildren. He lives on through them.

Always loved Uncle Trev - he was, indeed, my favourite uncle, welcoming and kind. It was moving seeing the photos of him with dad. Much love to you all.

Prayers and love to all the family as they celebrate Trevor's life. A very sincere and cheerful gentleman who will be sorely missed by many. It has been our pleasure to have known Trevor.
