Peacefully in the presence of family on Tuesday 10 March 2026, aged 84. Deeply loved husband of Janet, and treasured Dad of Rebecca, Louise, and Maria. Loved Pop of Harry, James, Leah, Amos, and Heide. Loved brother of Helen, Dawn, Brian, and Val.

According to Philip's wishes a private service has been held. A public memorial service to celebrate Philip’s life will be held on Saturday 25th April (Anzac Day) at 2 p.m. at Wesley Broadway, Palmerston North.
