Our sincere condolences to Julie & Jack & extended family. Andrea, Brent & Harrison Fraser.
Uncle Steve and Auntie Julie were always some of my closest friends in New Zealand when I was growing up. Uncle Steve would take me down to the farm, or we’d go for bike rides along the coast and through the streets. Looking back, I’m sure it probably gave Mum and Dad a bit of time to themselves, but it never felt like babysitting. I genuinely loved spending time with him, and it always felt like he enjoyed my company just as much. I’ll always remember how happy he was to see everyone at Christmas. He had a way of making sure every person in the family felt welcomed and included. I’m going to miss him a lot. Love, Marcus

Great memories Cousin Steven of weekend day trips with you while staying with Nana Fabish in the 70,s. We only recently spoke at Inglewood a few days ago. So Sorry to hear this SAD News Regards Robbie Nagle
Uncle Steve is such a centre point of all the amazing memories I have of New Plymouth. He would always make such an effort with us and was definitely eager to make the most of everyday we had together. When it came to me and Marcus uncle Steve was always up for a good time, no matter what. Will forever cherish the amazing jokes, christmases, fish & chip nights, mountain climbs and moments together as a family. Will miss you lots, Love Anna
Julie , Jack and family, we were so sad to hear the news of Steve’s passing. Our thoughts are with you at this incredibly difficult time. Mike and Lana.
Uncle Steve had a love for cars that was impossible to miss. Whether it was having a yarn about the last race, hitting the open road, or sharing stories over the years, it always brought him joy. I’ll always remember the times he took me and Jack to the stockcars in his Commodore and us egging him on to floor it. The Christmases in the Taranaki sunshine playing cricket and riding the quad around Uncle Steve’s pristine lawn is a family childhood memory I’ll always remember. Cheers for the good times and hope you are driving something fast up there
A day I remember is Steven taking charge when we all loaded into mum's car with pumped up tractor tubes on top to meeting of water then years later years seeing you both Steven and Julie walking the streets
