Lints, Murray Ronald, QSM, on the 2nd of March 2026 passed away at North Haven Hospice, aged 87 years. 

Beloved husband of Effie, much-loved father and father-in-law of Thierry and Robyn, Tracy and Michael, Melanie and Gary. 

Loved Grandy of Anthony-John (AJ), Alex, Lachie, and Annika, and grandfather-in-law of Grace and Joel.

Loved Great-Grandy of Leah, Gracy, Finlay, Ivy, Dylan, and Dax. 

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Steve, and June.

In accordance with his wishes a private cremation has occurred. 

A celebration of Murray’s life will be held at the Northland Hockey Association clubrooms, (45 Park Ave, Kensington, Whangārei) at 3:30pm on Wednesday 11th March 2026.
