Saddened to learn this news Edward. Together we have walked this path with so many families, and your contribution to those difficult journeys they walked always gave them the best record that could be had. But now, the rules have changed, and it is you and yours who take the front seats of the church. May you experience the love and support your friends and indeed your community circle will be willing onto you all with their thoughts, prayers, and actions. Arohanui to you and yours Edward- may eternal peace be with your mum, as she awaits the coming of the new realm.
I have lovely memories of Ann (as she was known to us) from when we all lived on Omata Road. My brother Maurice and I were often at the Gundesen's playing when we were children. Even at such a young age Ann believed very much in her God and led her life accordingly. Ann it was a pleasure and privilege to have known you and to have had you as part of my childhood. Now with God.
Carolyn was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She brought such a loving light into my life with her faith and spirit and she will really be missed.
A beautiful service. She would have loved it. I have many very fond memories of camps, crafts, and fun times with your mum. Her huge personality will be missed. Much love to family x

One thing that truly stood out about Carolyne Ann was her love for people and her affection for everyone and her books. She shared a beautiful poem on our wedding day that we'll always treasure. Our deepest condolences to her family. Rest in peace Oma
Carolyn was one who saw the lack in others. Even those close to her, our sisters and brothers. Her eye would see the need And respond with a good deed. Most quietly watching to glean Then with action follows unseen Allowing the one from above To get all the glory and love. This to me who Carolyn was shining for our Saviour who carried the cross, Now promoted to glory what legacy in her life story.
My heartfelt sympathy to you Deb and all your family on hearing the sad news of Carolyn's passing. Although it has been a few years since we have seen each other, the connection in years past are fondly remembered.
