Sandra was part of a group of Guys and Girls who were in the last Form 2class in 1957 at West End School then headed to High school. Our lives took us in different directions but we remained in touch meeting at Reunions I.e. 1984 and 1999. Since 2017 we have got together for lunch every year in November when most of us celebrated birthdays. As a group we celebrated Sandra’s80th birthday with her with an afternoon tea held in the Care lounge at Summerset Mountain View. Sandra was a very gentle person who loved flowers, was a beautiful knitter and loved pretty things. A very caring person - Rest in Peace our Dear friend. Sandra loved flowers and got much pleasure from her garden, her orchids and the indoor plants she grew. The prettier the flowers the more she loved them. Her home was always shared with a much loved, very well treated cat. Sometimes a Siamese or sometimes just a moggie but loved just the same. She learned to knit when she was a child and never stopped until she couldn't manage it any more. Many babies were warmed by her work and she took much pleasure from her creations. Busy hands now still - rest easily my beautiful oldest sister.

Gone to a better place on the same day as Mum, 17 years later. Rest in peace.

Those we love can never be more than a thought away. With all the memories I have of you as my lovely eldest sister you will always be with me in my heart.
