Tributes

I just found out yesterday through a workmate. I went with Frank to Prague in 2014 to purchase a printing press from SOMA on behalf of Accolade packaging. I have a video of him talking to Tomas our liaison in Prague that always makes me laugh. One of the best guys I know. Condolences to Claire and the family. Rest in love Frank. I will see you when I see you my brother.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a true gentleman. I had the privilege of knowing him through business, where he was always kind, knowledgeable, and highly respected. He conducted himself with integrity, fairness, and quiet confidence, and he was someone you immediately trusted and admired. He leaves behind a legacy not only of business success, but of decency and respect that will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, and my sincere condolences go to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

Dear Frank, thank you so much for your support given to me by doing business in NZ. It was a lot more than only a collegial relationship - it was a friendship! Besides all the serious business we did together, we often found lots of little things to laugh about. Your laughter was refreshing. As well your private invitations let me feel being a part of your (family & friends’) community. Looking backward I am glad having had the chance to give a little return of this warmth kindness and friendship when you traveled to Paderborn/Germany. If I ever come again to NZ I will miss the soul of this beautiful country….you! But I will never forget. Rest in peace. Konstanze Born

I am very sad to hear the news of Frank’s passing. I only met Frank through many virtual meetings since 2021. Instead of being business partners, he became my friend from across the ocean instead. I will miss our laughs! The world lost a great man way too soon! Rest in peace my Friend. You will be missed!
