So sad to hear of Bills passing. A top bloke I had the privilege to work with and around. Always ready to share a yarn or two.
The Hawera Country & Variety Music Club wishes to acknowledge the passing of Bill Colville. For several years, Bill was a vital supporter of our group as the provider of our hall. He didn’t just give us a place to play; he helped provide a home for our music and our community. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this time.

To Joan, Caroline, Gillian, Robbie & Kristy, and families, I am so sorry for your loss. May you call on the memories you made together and please look after each other, especially Joan. I had the pleasure of working with Bill at the power board, and on other jobsites as well. Pipe bands, and ties to Campbelltown were also touchpoints. Bill was such a gentleman and all-round good person. Always freely giving of advice and humour. Bill, you didn’t quite make it to Hogmanay this year, so I will be raising a parting glass to you. Go well, kind sir. You will be truly missed.
Condolences to Joan and the family thinking of your all at this sad time. Will get in touch at a later date
