RUSSELL, Mavis (nee Langman)
Passed away 28 December 2025, Aged 81.
Dearly loved wife of the late Rodney (Russ).
Cherished mother of Louise and Judith and mother-in-law to Ray.
Loved Nana of Elisabeth and Anthony.
Mavis will be forever missed not only by her family, but by the volunteer organisations she was involved with.
The family would like to thank the staff of Warkworth Hospital for their wonderful care of Mavis.
A service was held at Jason Morrison Funerals, 24 Whitaker Road, Warkworth on Monday, 12th January 2026 at 11:00am.

Mrs Russell was a large part of my life from aged 12. She was a multi-talented woman and at times a role model. The friendship of my Aunt and Mrs Russell was special and they both did a lot of community work. I was always providing jars for jam. Although I lived away from Warkworth for a long time I always came back when I could. For Judith and Louise I can feel a part of your loss and all my love is with you both. Ordinarily I would be at the funeral but as you know ai can't travel just now. Hopefully the video will be available. The biggest hugs to you both. Arohanui.
