AMBRUS Janos – of Cheviot

On December 15th 2025,Peacefully at Burwood Hospital, after a long battle with dementia, aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband of Julianna.

Much loved father and father in law of Andras and Irish, and Julianna and Neil Patterson.

Loved Grandad of Troy, and Danielle; and Libby.

A special thankyou to all the team involved in the care of Janos.

A service to celebrate the life of Janos will be held at the Rossburn Receptions, Northbrook Chapel Spark lane Rangiora, on Friday December 19th 2025 at 12.30pm, thereafter interment in the Home View Cemetery, Cheviot at 3.30pm.
