A true gentleman.Herbie it was a real pleasure to work along side you for 22 years at Foodstuffs. Your guidance and advise was always appreciated you never expected anyone to do something that you yourself would not do a true leader.. may you rest in peace. Our thoughts are with your family. Nancy & Peter Woodd.
Herbie loved singing praises, was encouraging to people in the Lords ways. My sympathies to you as a family.
A tribute to my loving father who along with our mother provided a safe and stable environment for Ruth and I to grow up in. He will be remembered for his good Christian values, work ethics, faithfulness and integrity which he taught to Ruth and I. He strongly encouraged me in directions I was reluctant to go which ultimately benefited me. He enjoyed being with people and when he retired said the thing, he missed the most was interaction with people. He liked to encourage others and would always have a wee job for anyone he thought needed one. He enjoyed farming and music especially pipe bands which he once played in. I am proud to have had him as my father, till we meet again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3Y9Db4DJP4
