Suddenly on March 16, 2022. A much loved husband, father, pop, eldest son, brother, father-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, friend and mate to many. A day we will never forget. Taken too soon, forever in our hearts and always by our sides. Words cannot explain our heartache at this difficult time. You had so much more living left in you. An exciting second chapter that had just begun. Not just leaving a hole within us but throughout the Plains, that will never be filled. An inspiration and mentor to many, a great mate and we love you for that.

A service for Rod will be held on Thursday 24th March at 1pm on the farm in Edgecumbe, followed by private cremation.
