Dearly loved husband of Pamela. Much loved father of Michael, Theresa and Graeme Tingey, Marie and Derek Tingey, Elizabeth and Fritz, Caroline, and Peter and Joanne.
Very much loved grandfather, great grandfather and mentor of
Solomon, Isabella and Reuben Hood;
Benjamin, Stephanie and Luis, the late Joshua, and Bex, Samuel and Paige, and Matthew and Lani; Tingey;
James, Kate and Oscar, Daniel and Kate, and Trent Tingey;
Lucas and Meli, Alexander and Jacky, and Emmanuelle Baur;
and Milan Hood.

Dearest Pam – I have just stumbled upon [online] the sad news of Ross’s passing – Oh, Crikey… Our belated condolences and deepest sympathies to you all - I will always remember Ross as a kind, friendly, positive soul with a dazzling smile, sparkling eyes, quick wit and an absolute devotion to you and his family... Clearly [as I can very much appreciate] the weeks and months after his departure was likely a rather challenging time for you all - Amidst this transition and the years ahead, his love will be with you - all - ALWAYS... and precious memories of happy times together will only ever be a loving thought away... May you all be comforted to know that he rests in peace - free from discomfort or distress [well, either side of gleeful barrel roll and loops above the clouds…] ...
