ALLEN Heather Jean (nee Smith) Peacefully and quietly, Heather slipped away in the early hours of Tuesday 30 January 2018, aged 77 years, surrounded by her family. Tenderly and wonderfully cared for by Sunhaven Rest Home and Dr Terblance. Daughter of Albie & Elizabeth (both deceased). Loved Mum of Terry & Claire, Rex & Jo, Clive & Raewyn, Carolyn & Manea, and Toni & Pete. Nana to her 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Loved sister and sister-in-law of Merv & Phyl, Gordon & the late Thelma, Ron & Marion (both deceased), Fay & Lyndsay, Alf & Lois, Dulcie, Doug (deceased) & Jackie.

An intrepid traveller, passionate gardener, vocal advocate and tireless volunteer. She is now at rest.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Heather’s life, to be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street New Plymouth on Monday 5 February 2018 at 1.00pm. A Private cremation will be held
