My thoughts have been with you all as you say farewell to your amazing Mum and Gran. The days at Huiakama school and in the wider community are my memories of her especially. She had a great energy for life and for people .Her beautiful singing voice at the concerts held in The Strathmore Hall and at singing lessons at school.Not only did she teach me but my kids as well. She was always interested in each and everyones fanilies and where life took them. Her encouragement and delight in seeing everyones potential especially the people from little old Huiakama. She will be missed at the The 125 th Huiakama School Reunion in November. My heartfelt sympathy to you all. Love Jeanette Findlay {MAUL}

A chance B and B booking about 12 years ago introduced me to Dorothy and Friendship Force. Her stories (and contact numbers!) encouraged me to seek out FF in my area. For my sins, I'm currently President of the Hamilton Waikato Club. I was so glad to take part in a club journey to New Plymouth for the Garden Festival about 4 years ago and catch up with Dorothy at the Farewell Dinner. She was such a champion for the FF cause!
Avelyn, Denis and families, our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Your mother was such an amazing woman and achieved so much in her lifetime. Such a shame she didnt make her century but I'm sure you will be celebrating her life and sharing all those precious memories with all your families around you. Our love and best wishes to all of you. Carolyn and Geoff Ward
