In Taranaki, John, your warmth and friendliness were unbeatable; the epitome of a bowler. Go well, you fine man.

Altough I have never had the privelage of meeting you John - I have been great friends with Gareth for over 45 years so I have heard many a story about you and the family in NZ . I feel that I know you as I have known Gareth. My sincere condolances to your family at this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. You will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
