Rita was a special friend to Ray and Leila Simpson and their Family. We enjoyed her visits to our home in Hamilton with her brother Des and daughter Heather. Rita was truly a wonderful lady whose company we always enjoyed. There will always be a special place in our hearts for the lovely Rita. May god bless Rita always. Ray, Leila and Family. xxxx
So sorry to hear about the sad news of Mrs MacDonald's passing. She was Mum's nearest and dearest friend and Rita's loyalty and love was unwavering to the end. I have so many treasured memories of your Mum. The chatting, the laughter, Scottish dancing, the incredible work ethic, thoughtfulness, kindness and always swapping tomatoes, veges or baking and doing a kind deed for St Pius X or St Philomena's, playing at 108 Huatoki, especially cars and the biggest treat going home with a big bag of Neil's delicious grapes. Rita was an amazing person and will be dearly missed. RIP Mrs MacDonald.
To all of Rita;s family, my deepest sympathy to you all . Dear Rita was such a true friend , lovely memories of Scottish Country Dancing days .
