Jenny was my first cousin, and the same age as I am, so I have many childhood memories of family visits most Sundays. We also shared the same class in early primary school. I remember my Mum, and Jenny's Mum (my Auntie Nola), talking about, and being concerned about our teacher in primer 3, who, to our entertainment, would threaten to tape the mouths of the naughty children who wouldn't stop talking, and on the odd occasion, would tie other naughty children to their chairs with rope, who wouldn't sit down. Not Jenny or myself of course. We were good children. These were light hearted memories we shared. We loved that teacher, and were very comfortable with her, in case you were wondering about her unorthodox teaching methods. Jenny always had a kind passion for animals and people, and her kindness will be missed. Steve Newbold.

i had not seen Jenny since high school, but I was priveledged to cross paths with her again when i transferred her on one of her trips to Palmerston for treatment. She was so positive and upbeat considering her pain. We shared many memories of our Inglewood High days and she updated me on what old pupils were up to. Jenny gave me an amazing gift...she reminded me that life was short and to enjoy each day to the fullest....her love for animals and her gentle voice always reminded me of her Dad and my Mum Doreen. There will be a joyous reunion with all of them together again now. 😇😇
