It is with sadness that we hear of Ians passing. Ian took us all over the place in his busing days. First met him in Stratford when I was a mechanic at Dicksons. Then caught up with him again at Urenui after we had left Stratford. Then again liaised on the golf courses in particular Inglewood.

Ian and I started school together as 5 year olds..Bird Road School..about 40 kids total as I recall..he rode a grey cattle pony to school..and he could throw a ball better and further than anyone else. Just one of the good guys. Rest in peace my friend. Owen

Dear Marina and family such a shock to hear of Ians passing as I had only seen him at the club when he did a wonderful charade skit for us - he sure was a laugh. We will miss his smiley positiveness at the club. Love and hugs to you all in this time of sadness

Sorry to hear of you loss, our thoughts are with you and your family Marina. We will miss Ian's wonderful friendly personality, his phone calls and visits. He truely enjoyed his bus driving days at Kiwi Tours and was much appreciated for his service and time spent with us, especally after the passing of Stewart. He will be forever missed by all.

Our special thoughts and love are with Marina, the girls and their families. Bill and Ian were very close. Growing up Ian always said Bill was the brother he never had and they were always great mates. We will miss his phone calls and him popping in and having a cuppa and a chat on his walks. My Dear Dad, We never got to say goodbye last night . You left us too soon but at the same time you are not suffering any more with that awlful disease Dementia. Thankyou for being a wonderful caring Dad and The Best Bus Driver for many years . When you took your final drive from the house this morning ..
