Died gracefully at Waikato Hospital on Saturday, 27 March 2021. Dearly loved husband of the late Annemarie. Proud father of Henry and Lewis. Special friend of Sheryl. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Robin & Gretchen, Roger & Jan, the late Susan & Roger, Jennifer, Jocelyn, the late Elizabeth & Grant, the late Margaret & Cyril, the late Peter & Trish, the late Roger & Maria, Susan & Michael, Jane & Robert, Jerome & Judy, the late Timothy, Christopher & the late Gayle, the late Simon & Linda, Claire, Angela & Jeffery and the late Victoria & the late Edward. Cherished uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Founding member of Club X. 

A service to celebrate George’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Saturday 3 April 2021 at 12pm, followed by his burial at Kopuatama Cemetery, Stratford.  George’s service will also be live streamed to his tribute page at eagars.co.nz/george.
