The world has lost a hero. It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Graeme Phillips. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday 2nd March 2021, aged 79. Cherished husband of Toni. Proud Dad of Richard & Ursula, Yvonne & Pete, and Janine & Andrew. Adored Pop of Cameron, Hailey, Kelsey, Nicole, Mary-Rose, William, and Dean. Extra special Pop of Tyler, Dean, Yvette, and Nixon.

A service to celebrate Graeme’s wonderful life will be held on Tuesday 9 March 2021 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 27 Egmont Street, Patea at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

I have fond memories of Graeme from my childhood and again since my return to South Taranaki in recent years. You will be sorely missed Graeme however not forgotten. Rest in Peace Mr Phillips.
