Peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday 2 March 2021, in his 92nd year.
Dearly loved husband of Nita for 55 years.
Much loved Dad of Neil (deceased), Paul and Julie (Hamilton), Grant and Lee (New Plymouth), Janine and Victor Apiata (Waiuku), and Jeremy and Fiona (New Plymouth).
Loved and respected ‘Grandie’ of his 19 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth of Monday 8 March 2021 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

Dear Nita & family I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He played such a huge part in our lives growing up and we will miss him dearly. Clem was very fond of him too and we really enjoyed the time we had together with both of you & Dad. Thinking of you at this sad time but also celebrating a wonderful life Lots of Love Christine ( nee Wood )

Peter was always so kind and considerate to our family. We are truly saddened, you have our greatest sympathy.
So sorry to see the passing of Peter. He was such a lovely man and I thoroughly enjoyed helping him with his holidays to Fiji.
