Peacefully at home with her family on Saturday 23 January 2021 aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Michael, the late Angela, Therese and Johnny McCarvill, and Cushla and Todd Lahmert. Treasured and adored Nana of Michaela, Anika; Sarah, Jaden, Scott, Shaun; Abbey, Cole and Great Nana of Ngaire, Cassius; Hunter, Carter, Ryder, Mia; Oliver, Evie, and Joseph. “Forever in our hearts, Rest in Peace”.
In preference to flowers please consider a donation to Taranaki Hospice in recognition of the wonderful care they have provided.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, Miranda Street, Stratford on Wednesday 27 January 2021 at 11.00am. Marie will then be laid to rest with John at the Kopuatama Cemetery. For those unable to attend, Marie’s service will be live streamed via her tribute page at eagars.co.nz/marie.

I am very sorry about Marie. My thoughts are with Michael, Theresa, and Cushla and families at this sad time. I will never forget her. as we know Marie for years. she was an amazing lady. Glad We were with you all today. will be thinking of you all and the Memories too.
Michael, Therese and Cushla we are sorry to hear of the sad news of Auntie Marie’s passing. It was a lovely funeral and the collage of photos brought back so many memories of Auntie Marie and Uncle John I had through out my childhood.
