We were so sad to hear of the passing of our Uncle Colin. Though the times we spent with him were brief, they are ones we'll always treasure. Thank you to Eagars Funerals for providing the live stream for us to be a part of saying goodbye to Colin, it was great to see the big turn out for an obviously well loved man. His humour and wit are legendary. Sue, he was taken far too soon. You and he both look too young to have had 40 years of marriage. Col, you were a big part of my life growing up as a teen from sailing,skating rinks, skate boarding and..the Zephyr. Its amazing how many people one can fit in a Zephyr and how fast you can repaint one with a paint brush in an afternoon. There was never a dull moment - thanks for the memories. ps if you see Mum & Dad "Hide"... My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Sue and your family on your sudden departure ...very saddened.. a life cut too short.

Sue, Brook, Ryan ... I really am lost for words, I'd love to say something comforting or profound but I've been staring at this little box for 20 minutes now and all I can think of is this one time we were screaming up and down Dudley Road on Colin's bike, his laughter blowing back wildly in the wind. So full of life, easy smiles and mischief. Thinking of you all and sending my love.

We grew up together on Cook Street as children, we lived in and shared houses together in our teen years (oh the mischief and fun we had). You were my best man at my wedding and reconnected with me after my stroke, which I thank you for. I am honoured to have had you in my life and deeply saddened to hear the news, but you sir will live on in my heart, and I have the only photo of you and I which I will cherrish for ever more. Colin was always passinate about what he had to say and often brought up the things that were important to every day people, like the latest water meter issues. Dear Sue and family - i was shocked and saddened to learn of Colin’s passing. We met through a shared love of motorcycling in the early 2000s. I had the privelege of knowing Colin as a fun loving, kind hearted generous soul. He was a more talented rider than me, always quick to share a laugh and or offer encouragement.
