To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. God bless you Audrey. My prayers to your beloved family (my NZ family).
Audrey was a dear friend for over 40 years. I have many fond memories of growing up together through our school years right through to present day. In the later years Colin and I had especially enjoyed the Golden Oldies, taking the two Audrey's along to join in the singing. I viewed the service online with the help of my son Gary and it was a lovely tribute to the Audrey I knew. My condolences to the McCallum famiy at this sad time. Merle
To the McCallum family. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Audrey was a lovely lady and we have have fond memories of her at Otakeho. Kind Regards Jean & the late Lindsay Le Fleming and families.
A beautiful service, and so nice to see our family in New Zealand and hear them speak. I remember fondly my visits to New Plymouth and staying with Grandma Audrey, may she rest peacefully. Love from Perth, Western Australia. Lachlan McCallum
Kind and loving thoughts of a special lady special friend , Mary
Audrey knew me as Julie number 2. At Otakeho primary School, I was Julie number one's best friend (and still am after 45 years). I spent many a weekend staying over at the McCallum household where Audrey would always treat me as the most welcome guest of which I loved. To me, Audrey has always been a "living example" of several really valuable qualities in a person of which I still aspire to today. These were consideration, patience and an extraordinary ability "not to take things personally". Exercising these qualities has not only made me a better person but helped me manage many events throughout my life in a positive way. Good bye Mrs McCallum and thank you for your teachings. May you rest in peace.
My Mother and Elsie were sisters. My earliest memory of Audrey was of her and Joan singing Whispering Hope on the Hempton Hall stage. Thereafter hearing her sing many times with various choirs over the years. Janet and I send our sincere condolences at your loss. We are away at present and very sad not to be at the celebration of Audrey’s life. God Bless you all. Stuart Helms
