Peacefully at Maida Vale on Saturday 17 October 2020, aged 92. Dearly loved wife of Ian (deceased). Cherished Mum of John (Koyt). Adored Nana of Gary and Amelia, and Jimmy and Matt. Great-Nana Shin of Odin, Max, Raymond, and Harpa.

A service to celebrate Shin’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Thursday 22 October 2020 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

Our deepest sympathy to Koyt and family , on the loss of your mother, and grandmother. Jean was very proud of her family and often talked about John to me at Rural Women meetings. ‘ I think she was secretly proud of your big beard Koyt’ May she rest in peace, she has lived her life well.x
