Spencer, Eagar's Chief Comforter, slipped away peacefully, wrapped in love and surrounded by his family.

Spencer started his comforting role as a great companion to Casey and Richard's children Isaac and Emerson (and Casey and Richard!).  He graduated to a full time role, greeting the many familes we've served at our funeral home and chapel.  Sure he'd bark a bit too much at times but there was no denying he knew who needed his attention when they walked through our door.  He was magic with kids and provided a welcome distraction at what can be a distressing time.

We will miss our walks at back beach and along the Te Henui Walkway and we know that the many dogs who walk through the cemetery will miss Spencer bounding out our door to say hello.

Thanks for being a loyal companion to our family and the families we serve.  Rest in peace buddy...
