KOMENE Rangitea John: 03/04/1955 - 29/08/2021, aged 66 years. Rangi passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital with family by his side. A dearly loved son, brother and uncle to the Komene and Rangipunga whanua. Rangi leaves behind his only son Jarrod Komene. He was such a wonderful, generous, cheeky and kind man who gave everything to the community and loved being a part of people’s lives. A much loved member of the Tukapa Rugby family, the Westend Bowling community and the deaf community.
In accordance with Covid rules and Rangi’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held. The wider community are invited to join via a livestream of Rangi’s service at www.hardingsfunerals.co.nz/tributes

Michael Lawn. Rangi was a lovely man. Funny, gental and a very kind man. We new his sisters and family as kids at Parihaka, we had loads of fun..Angela, Berryman, Tini and later on Etta. Over the past few years we caught up again at his flat, down the street or at ours. Love and miss you my friend and Bro. Rest in Peace and see you up there. Michael Lawn.
