It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, Uncle, Koro, Friend and Husband, Matthew Michael Houia
(Mike Snr).

Loved Father of Michael Houia Jnr, Sid Houia & Andrea and Donita & Greg. Treasured Husband of Rihi Houia (Dec).
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, we have decided to keep Matthew (Mike Snr) Houia in state at Gateways Funeral Services, until we are able to safely return him home to Omaio for burial.
At this stage, we are awaiting an announcement from Government on Tuesday 31 August, regarding Covid Alert Levels. The Whanau will update funeral arrangements at that time.
